Im trying to install this adapter so I can run a block heater. Somewhere near the front of the engine hopefully. After loosen the plug, I was able to remove the plug as the plug was shorter than I expected (much shorter than the oil drain plug). Trying to locate a drain plug for the cooling system. The O2 sensor was not really blocking the removal of the engine drain plug totally. Just want to report on my experience regarding the job. Otherwise, I would have surely damaged the O2 sensor and would have cost me a few hundred bucks. It is very helpful in terms of letting me know what I would expect.
